  1. Surprising combination of colors usually associated with Spring (in U.S. culture). What made you choose this contrast of mellow and intense? I like it very much.

    • Thank you! This painting has a lot to do with the two contrasts of emotions or states of being, and wanting to be what one is not. I chose a flesh color at the top to represent a transition from basic human existence into more vibrant colors – or being that which I am not.
